St. Laurence Vikings Baseball

Coach McHugh enters his 13th year at St. Laurence (8th on P. Lotus’s staff). Matt graduated from St. Laurence in 1997. While at St. Laurence he was a member of the football and baseball teams. Matt went on to play baseball Kankakee Community College for two years were he was apart of there 1998 NJCAA National runner up team. Since Coach McHugh has been coaching varsity baseball at St. Laurence, every starting catcher has gone on to play collegiate baseball. Coach McHugh has taken a new roll this year as baserunning coordinator and is extremely excited about what good things are to come from this. Coach McHugh is also a Local 399 engineer at Kennedy high / Kinzie elementary and has coached Top Tier at the 10u, 11u and 12u age groups
