St. Laurence Viking Winter Pitching/Catching Camp

Starts: 10:00 a.m./Ends: 12:00 p.m.

Camp Cost: $10.00 (can be brought on day of camp during registration)

Camp Details

Join the coaches at St. Laurence for the Viking Winter Pitching/Catching Camp.

This camp is designed to educate and drill a player to develop him into the best possible pitcher he can be. We will discuss general mechanics, grips, fielding, and arm care. Pitchers will also throw to catchers.

Catchers need to bring their own catching equipment. Catching instruction will include stance, receiving, blocking, and throwing. When you register, be sure to indicate whether you are a pitcher or a catcher.

Reminder: If you are choosing to attend the Pitcher or Catcher session, please make sure you choose the position (Pitcher or Catcher) you are wishing to work in the contact form.

 

We suggest you sign up early as there is a limit to the number of participants.

Players receive:
-2 hours of professional instruction
-Opportunity to meet, learn and be evaluated by current St. Laurence coaching staff
-Invaluable experience for future baseball success

Equipment needed
Bring your own personal equipment for use. Fielding glove, bat, and batting gloves are recommended. Catchers: bring your own gear. Come dressed to work out. If weather is conducive, we may go outdoors to our turf field, so dress warm.

Check-in for camp will begin at 9:30 a.m. at St. Laurence.
