St. Laurence Baseball Virtual Coaches Clinic 

 

“Coaching our Teams During Social Isolation”

 

Objectives:

In these very tough times, it is difficult to find a way to connect with our players and to provide proper instruction for them to continue to grow as baseball players.

At St. Laurence, we have continued to practice with our Baseball teams despite these adverse conditions.

Over the past several weeks, our coaches have been innovative in both practice organization and practice drills to maintain their edge and be ready for their season when they are able to play again.

The St. Laurence Baseball Coaching staff would like to share some of what has been developed with area coaches through A FREE Virtual Coaching Clinic specifically designed to help coaches instruct their teams during this time of social isolation.

 

The Coaches Clinic will be a Live 3-Part Series in Developing Players in Different Aspects of Baseball 

1. Organizing and Facilitating a Virtual Practice with a Team

2. Designing a Virtual Individual Defensive Practice & Developing Pitchers Virtually

3. Providing a Hitting Practice to Improve Bat Speed & Timing with Limited Space

 

The Coaches Clinics will occur on Monday Nights at 7:30pm - 8:15pm on the following Mondays:

Part 1: Monday May 4th -  Organizing and Facilitating a Virtual Practice with a Team

Part 2: Monday May 11th - Designing a Virtual Individual Defensive Practice & Developing Pitchers Virtually

Part 3: Monday May 18th -Providing a Hitting Practice to Improve Bat Speed & Timing with Limited Space
